As a child I was always drawing and sketching family members, cartoons, etc. As an adult, however, home and family became a priority and art materials were set aside. After my children were grown, I once again returned to art and now it has become my passion.

I have enjoyed working in other mediums, but watercolor is my favorite. There is a luminosity and brilliance that can only be achieved through this marvelous medium. I enjoy painting a variety of subjects, but my favorites are cats and flowers.

Although I have no formal art training, I have been privileged to study with nationally known watercolorists such as Tony Couch, Terry Madden, and Arleta Pech, among others.
