Art Show Guidelines: All BAA members may participate. Sign up in the notebook in the Art Center! Maximum 6 A-Frames or 10x10 wire display, 1 card rack, 1 print rack, 1 small table, business cards and a ballpoint pen for invoices; wear a name tag, dress for success. Pick up price tags at the Art Center or make your own. Put title of artwork, copyright date, artist’s name, address and phone number on back of every painting/photograph; 25% commission paid to BAA on all sales.

Wasco Rose Festival BAA Show - All BAA members are invited to enter this group show, Saturday, September 10th at the Wasco Festival of Roses, 8:30am (set-up) to 4:30pm. All artists will be set up inside and in front of the Veterans Memorail Building on the corner of Barker Park on Poso, in Wasco. Each artist may have up to 6 A-frames or panels, a print rack, a small table, a chair, and a card rack. Space is limited so the artists arrange the show as best meets the needs of all participants. Items welcomed: original paintings, photography, prints, cards, bookmarks, jewelry, etc. If you want to display something not on this list, please email Charlotte White (charlotte_l_white@yahoo.com) or phone 330-2676. There will also be an area where only ROSE paintings and photograpsh will be exhibited. Artists do not have to stay at the show all day. They may come at 8:30am and deliver their paintings and then return again at 4:30pm to pick them up.

On September 16, 2011 the BAA will have a special area at the Symphony for Hispanic themed paintings, photographs and sculptures in honor of Mexico's Independence. Mariachi music will be part of the evening's entertainment. Bring all art to Rabobank at noon. All unsold pieces may be picked up after the intermission.

December 9-11, 2011 the BAA will have a special area for ballet/nutcracker themed paintings in honor of the Nutcracker Ballet. Start painting ballet/nutcracker theme paintings! Bring all art to Rabobank at noon on Friday, Dec. 9th. All unsold pieces may be picked up after the intermission on Sunday Dec. 11th.

Two New Theme Art Shows at Businesses
We will be having a group show in the Guild House in the fall, ―Historic Bakersfield‖, and at Dagney's Coffee Shop in November, will be ―Wake Up and Smell the Coffee‖ group show. Details to come.

Certified Organic Farmers’ Market, Artisan and Merchant Fair. April through December, 9-4 Saturdays, tentatively 11-7 Thursdays starting in May. Caffeine Supreme, corner of F & 20th Streets, downtown. Get a 10’x10’ booth intro rate $20 in April, individual artists can sell work on commission basis.
